Our Rights as a Photographer
What are our rights??? as a Photographer
As most of you will know that the Copyright Law was changed in Australia in 2006
So anything with this sign © , or copyright. You must have permission to copy/reproduce that particular piece of artwork.
You must also have written permission (Release Form) to take photo's of any living subject for private use!!
If for some reason that that photo (private use) is used for a Commercial use the photographer MUST get a written permission form (Release Form) to use on a Commercial Basis's
Commercial use -
What does that mean, it means any photo that is used to SELL, PROMOTE, any item, article, to the public! whether it is used via internet, website, brochures, any type of advertising.
A fee is normally a fee is connected with that type of business deal.
If you are taking a photo for ANY commercial use, there MUST be some written agreement from the Council/Owner of subject.
Coastline Photo's have release forms that require signature's from all parties involved
